About Us

Dixon Phillips was founded in Cambridge early in 2009 by two experienced commercial solicitors, Paul Dixon and Oliver Phillips. Renewing acquaintance in 2008, having previously worked together at a large regional firm, Paul and Oliver decided to establish a practice focused at meeting the particular needs of small and medium sized businesses and start-ups. In Paul and Oliver's experience, these needs tend to be overlooked both by larger firms who set their sights on bigger ticket work and by high street practices who lack relevant expertise.

By placing a high value on client relations and personal service, we find out what is important to our clients and focus our advice accordingly. Through using technology effectively and operating from a low cost base, we provide advice which is both relevant and timely for fees that are both affordable and transparent. Wherever possible we offer fixed fees.

These are challenging economic times and the principles that drive our practice are more relevant now than ever with business owners being forced to look at the value that they receive from their suppliers, not least their professional advisors.
